Beginning in May, the library will start updating the material acquisition list as needed on the the library webpage. This will keep our listing more current, at least that's the plan!

Program Start Date: Monday, June 23, 10:30 am
Program End Date: Monday, August 4 at 1pm
Ice Cream Party!! Thursday, August 7 at 3:30 pm
Includes Read to Me, ages 2-4 and Readers grades K-5
The Program:
Story and Craft hour: Monday and Friday at 10:30 am.
Readers grades K-5. Crafts will be related to old time craft activities. Limit 10 children. Sign up required.
Field Trips: There will be two Field trips. One will be to the Temple Historical Society and the other will be to the Colburn/Weston Farm. Parents will need to attend these trips for their children to go. Trips will replace Monday and Friday story and craft hour on the weeks that they occur. Permission slips will be required. Both trips will be hosted by Priscilla Weston.
Read to Me Summer reading storytime: ages 2-4. Mondays at 2:30 pm at the Library. No sign up needed.
Children are required to read, or have read to them, books taken from the Mansfield Public Library only. Other books will not count for reading charts.
When children come in to fill out their charts, they can put their name and phone # in the jar for a prize.
Hidden Picture is baaaack! Our hidden pictures this year will feature Temple people, historical items or activities that people did in the "Olden Days". If you find the picture, then you bring it into the library to get a prize. You will get to pick 2 prizes if you can tell us something about the picture. For example, who is it? or what is this? or why is this important? The picture will not be the same each time as it has been in other years!
Hidden Gem! Read any Erma Bombeck lately? Still funny and insightful after all these years!

Parking Reminder!
We have a sign indicating the library parking area. We only have 4-5 spaces for our patrons. Please avoid parking in these areas if you are in town for a meeting or a gathering. Many thanks!

DVD Drop Off Reminder!
Don't put videos and DVD's in the book drop. We would rather have them slightly late than damaged. If they are damaged, the patron is charged for replacement! We are working on ideas to solve the problem. Please share if you have one!

World Book Web has been slightly delayed. We should have it up in March.
