Voter Registration

Registering to Vote in Temple

The Supervisors of the Checklist will meet January 22nd from 7pm – 7:30pm at the town offices, to take voter registrations and changes.

How can I register to vote in Temple?

• See the Town Clerk during regular office hours or by appointment.

• See Supervisors of the Checklist on their posted meeting times.

• On Election Day, see the Supervisors of the Checklist at the polls.
(You may register and vote on Election Day!)

What forms of identification do I need to register?

The Supervisors need to verify three factors:

• Citizenship

• Age

• Domicile (where you live)

Citizenship and age may be proved by passport or birth certificate. Something like a utility bill can verify your address. To show that you are you, show a driver’s license from any state or the federal government, a US Passport, an Armed Services photo ID, or any photo ID issued by the federal, state or local government.

If you have questions, please talk to the Town Clerk or the Supervisors of the Checklist, Robin Downes – 878-3332.
