The Board of Selectmen will be meeting on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Town Hall Annex. Agenda for meeting:
  1. Debriefing of the 12/11/08 ice storm with the Road Agent, Fire Chief, Police Chief and Emergency Manager.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Temple Municipal Building. Agenda for meeting:
  1. Costs incurred for the 12/11/08 ice storm event


Many Thanks!

During the recent ice storm, power outage, and show storms, Temple showed how a community can really come together during a time of crisis. The Temple, NH website would like to acknowledge and thank many of the people who helped residents and neighbors get through this difficult time. Many thanks to:

  • The Highway Department for plowing and clearing and salting roads
  • The Fire Department for checking up on neighbors
  • The Police Department for keep our community safe
  • The Select Board for coordinating efforts between the town and PSNH
  • TES principal Niki McGettigan and all the volunteers who kept TES open and fed so many who needed a hot meal and a hot shower
  • The many residents who loaned out generators for those who lacked power for longer than they
  • The many, many other citizens who did things big and small to help their neighbors stay warm and safe
