TOWN OF TEMPLE, NEW HAMPSHIRE

JUNE 4, 2003

PLANNING BOARD

FINAL MINUTES OF PUBLIC MEETING

Board members present: Bruce Kullgren Sr., A. Pickman, R. Whitcomb, R. Martin, Ex-Officio T. Petro

Call to Order by B. Kullgren at 7:40 p.m.

  1. Review of the 5/21/2003 minutes.  Move by Petro to accept the minutes as amended, second by Martin and voted in the unanimous affirmative.

  1. Martin, as Vice-Chairman, took over the meeting for the hearing on the Robbins gravel pit renewal.  The Board discussed notification.  The abutters were notified in a timely manner.  The publication in the newspaper was late, sufficient for a 10-day notice per the RSA’s, not sufficient for the 14-day notice required by the gravel pit regulations.  There was no quorum available at this time with Kullgren stepping down to present the renewal application.  The Board reviewed the gravel pit plans and the hearing was continued to June 18, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.

  1. James Houck met with the Board with a preliminary plan for a minor subdivision of M 08 Lot 017 located on Howard Hill Road.  It was noted that a test pit is needed on the proposed lot.  Houck informed the Board that the test pit is scheduled to be done.  Move by Pickman to waive the requirement for contours on the plat, second by Petro and voted in the unanimous affirmative.  A public hearing was set for 7/2/2003 at 7:30 p.m.  Check #1259 in the amount of $105.00 was received from Houck for the subdivision fee and abutters notices.

  1. Move by Petro to adjourn, second by Martin, meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
