    FINAL MINUTES OF PUBLIC MEETING

     

    Board members present: Bruce Kullgren Sr., Ted Petro, Rae Barnhisel, A. Pickman, R. Martin, Ex-Officio Sherry Fiske

     

    Call to Order by B. Kullgren at 7:40 p.m.        

                         

    1. Review of 1/29/2003 minutes.  Move by Barnhisel to approve the minutes as amended, seconded by Petro and voted in the unanimous affirmative.

     

    1. Kullgren informed the Board that he had received a phone call from a citizen who is thinking about buying a couple of lots to be used for commercial purposes.  Kullgren stated he had informed this person that commercial purposes needs to go before the Zoning Board of Adjustment and then site plan review.  The Board discussed including a look at possible commercial districts during the second phase of the master plan.

     

    1. Review of the economic environment section with some of the subcommittee members.  There was discussion of changing tables #1, #2 and #3 to reflect 1996 and 2024 figures with a bottom line note showing 1990 to 2024 figures.  This table would also include a note that account numbers and some accounting procedures had been changed to coincide with state of NH reporting requirements.

     

    1. Howard Bradler came in to ask the Board about “abandoned” or “unused” roads.  Bradler’s particular concern was Gulf Road, which was off of East Road.  The Board will look into the status of Gulf Road.  There was further discussion of class VI roads.  Move by Barnhisel to add Chapman Road to the map if it is a class VI road, second by Fiske and voted in the unanimous affirmative.

     

    1. Move by Pickman to adjourn, second by Fiske, meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
